My mother is Spanish but us siblings were raised her in Colorado and we speak English at home and at school. I only know some basic Spanish words but I can not communicate fluently in Spanish. When I moved in the city for my job, my parents and I constantly exchange email messages. And as expected my mom write to me in Spanish and I always have a hard time comprehending what she was telling me. Good thing I found an online translator where I can translate the words of my mom in plain English. Not only that I also use the online translation with my business correspondence. We have French clients and sometimes we need to exchange portfolios in French. I do not need to study their language to understand what they were saying, I can have their letter translated in English and I can reply back in French. That way makes us win more clients’ businesses.
